The PLDT High Speed Hitters have parted ways with head coach George Pascua after only one season in the Premier Volleyball League.

The team made the announcement Monday night, Jan. 2, on social media, wishing the 50-year-old tactician good luck on his future endeavors.
“We would like to thank Coach George Pascua for all that he has done for the team,” the post read.
“He built a program that helped the players strengthen their teamwork and gameplay, as they faced their battles on the court during the three conferences that Coach George was on board.”
The High Speed Hitters started the season with a fifth place finish in the Open Conference held from March to April, then improved to fourth in the Invitational Conference in July.
They, however, fell to sixth among nine teams in the Reinforced Conference that only concluded early last month.
During Pascua’s term, the High Speed Hitters had recruited several players like Mika Reyes, Dell Palomata, Kath Arado and Jules Samonte.
