Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. donates to churches and orphanages

TURNOVER -- Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. turned over its financial assistance to Sta. Rita De Cascia Parish held Jan. 6, 2023. Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. (WCKFI) led by its legal consultant, Judge Oscar P. Barrientos (Ret.), and volunteers, turned over on Jan. 6, 2023 financial assistance to Sta. Rita De Cascia Parish priest Fr. Norman J. Baldoz and several members of the parish executive committee.  The financial assistance is for the painting of the church ceiling to portray the life of Sta. Rita de Cascia. WCKFI is a non-stock, non-profit organization duly accredited by the Philippine Council of NGO Certification (PCNC) and a member of the Associations of Foundations (AF). Represented by Judge Barrientos (Ret.), WCKFI has always been dedicated to its goal to support the restoration and rehabilitation work for churches especially those with great historical and cultural value to communities. The donation was made in response to the call of the parish for the painting of its ceiling to portray the life of Sta. Rita De Cascia as the parish aims for its mission to be proclaimed as a diocesan shrine. On Jan. 13, WCKFI and Xavier 74 Foundation, Inc. again partnered for another project to provide assistance to the children of White Cross Orphanage in San Juan City, Metro Manila. The turnover ceremony was led by WCKFI, headed by its executive director and Xavier 74 Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustee member, Alexander D. Wongchuking, and Xavier 74 Foundation, Inc. headed by its president, Leonard Lim.  Turned over to the orphanage management were several sacks of rice, bottled water, milk, hygiene kits, slippers, appliances, clothes, blankets, cleaning materials and food packs. The two organizations share the same values and commitment to help the underprivileged members of society through charitable missions which include the conduct of medical mission, gift giving, donations. DONATIONS - Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Xavier 74 Foundation, Incorporated, at the turnover ceremonies for their donation of groceries, hygiene kits and other essential items to White Cross Orphanage, held on Jan. 13, 2023.
