Two female drug pushers, minor nabbed in Taguig City buy-bust

TAGUIG CITY -- Two individuals were apprehended while a minor companion was rescued during a buy-bust operation in Cocohills, Paso St., Barangay Bagumbayan here on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 28.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 3 (PDEA 3) confiscated some P1,207,500 worth of shabu from the arrested pushers identified as Mercy Grace Glang, 47, of Bagumbayan, Taguig City; and Jennifer Paler, 18, of Brgy. Lower Bicutan, Taguig City. The name of their 16-year old female minor was withheld.

The raiders seized five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 175 grams of shabu.

Also confiscated were the buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The operation was conducted by agents of PDEA Central Luzon composed of PDEA Aurora Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Section.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Glang and Paler.

The minor will be turned over to the Taguig Social Welfare Development Office for further evaluation.
