Completion of C.A. Yulo Avenue in Calamba City to promote economic growth, employment -- DPWH4A
CALAMBA CITY, Laguna -- The Department of Public Works and Highways Region IV-A office reported the completion of an access road leading to an economic hub here and to the South Luzon Expressway.

The construction/improvement of the access road named C.A. Yulo Avenue (named after the land donor from the Yulo family) started on Sept. 8, 2021.
DPWH Regional Director Jovel Mendoza said the project involved the construction of 1,400 linear meters road, 14-meter-wide additional concrete pavement with 1-meter-wide center island streetlights and 6-meter-wide road reblocking.
With the completion of the project “Construction/Improvement of Access Roads Leading to Trades, Industries and Economic Zones, Silangan Road (C.A. Yulo Avenue) Connecting South Luzon Expressway Leading to the Industrial Parks in Canlubang, City of Calamba, Laguna,” traffic in the area will hopefully improve dramatically.
The Yulo family donated C.A. Yulo Avenue to the Local Government Unit and authorized DPWH to carry out project implementation for its development under a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
Mendoza added that connectivity and safe mobility will be achieved because of the infrastructure, thereby significantly triggering economic growth and employment in the area.
