Tarsier Records introduces new drag artist Vinas Deluxe

Dubbed “Drag Pop Misis,” Viñas Deluxe is the latest drag queen-turned-recording artist to sign with Tarsier Records.

The ‘pambansang bunganga’ of “Drag Race Philippines” is set to launch a series of music releases under the ABS-CBN record label following another drag queen, Marina Summers, who dropped her song “Divine” last November.

Tarsier Records looks forward to pave the way for the drag pop genre in the Philippines spearheaded by Marina and Viñas, sharing their talent as music artists.

“This year, one of our hopes for the label is to champion drag pop not just as a genre, but as a movement, in collaboration with these multi-talented queens,” Tarsier Records label head Marey Garcia excitedly shared.

Viñas is equally thrilled to start the New Year by embarking on her music career.

“This is the beginning, signing into ABS CBN Music through Tarsier Records is a very big step sa aking music career. Soon, makikita niyo po akong magrelease ng singles,” she teased.

The new member of the Tarsier Records family also shared that being a singer has been a childhood dream.

“Bata pa lang ako want ko ng gumawa ng song. Frustrated ako dahil hindi ako marunong ng instrument at sumulat,” she narrated. “Now na may tumulong sakin, sobrang nafulfill ng childhood dream na iyon. Doon ko narealize na hindi ko need gawin lahat, need ko lang ng tamang tao na tutulong sakin.”

Viñas is set to release a sexy, fun, and confident remake of the 80s hit “I’m Feeling Sexy Tonight.”

“I found this track very empowering dahil kahit ano man ang aking shape at itsura, if you feel sexy, magiging sexy ka because no matter how I look, if I feel sexy, I will be sexy. It’s all about confidence. Gusto kong impart sa mga nakakarining na may lalim yung song na ito,” she said.
