Joint operatives of Marilao Police and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) seized more than P13 million worth of shabu from an alleged drug peddler in Barangay Loma De Gato, Marilao, Bulacan on Wendesday night, Jan. 25.
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the apprehended suspect as Marlo Palmario, 44, of Novaliches, Caloocan City.
Palmario was arrested while in the act of selling a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a police officer who posed as a buyer.
Confiscated from the suspect were two packs of high-grade shabu in Chinese tea bags with a total estimated weight of 2,050 grams and a street value of P13,940,000, and 67 pieces of P1,000 bill boodle money.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
Appropriated charges will be filed in court against the suspect, police said.
