BACOLOD CITY – Tourists and residents here, particularly those with transactions with government offices, can have free WiFi connection at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC).

Operated by GNET Network and Data Solutions, people can avail of the public Wifi by logging in through their smartphones or laptops.
This WiFi aims to help users conduct online communications quick and have chill-time surfing and emergency connections at the BCGC grounds.
With six access points, a one-hour connectivity subscription is available to a single use device per day.
Once the subscription limit is reached, users can access the free Wi-Fi the following day.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo ‘’Albee’’ Benitez said they are also planning to offer free public Wi-Fi at the old City Hall and the public plaza.

These include BCGC grounds, specifically the fountain area, Fountain of Justice at the old City Hall, public plaza, Bacolod Arts, Youth, and Sports Center, city public library, all public high school libraries, the entire BCGC building, City Health Office compound, Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), and Hall of Justice.
