For the first time, actor Alden Richards opened up about his real score with singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose.

During the recent episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on GMA-7, the award-winning host asked the Kapuso star who among those who was romantically linked to him almost became his girlfriend.

Alden came up with actresses Winwyn Marquez and Julie.

He shared that his relationship with Winwyn didn't work out because they were both busy with work.

As for Julie, he claimed it was his "fault."

"I decided mag-focus na lang po talaga sa work. Yun po yung hinihingi ko po ng sorry sa kanya. It was a long time of parang naiwan ko po siya,” he shared, deeming it "pinaka-mabigat."

Alden revealed that after their separation, they stopped talking for about seven years.

But one day, Alden decided to have their closure.

"Naniniwala po talaga ako na time really heals everything and mahirap po kasing ipilit. Gusto mo ng magkaayos kayo pero yung panahon hindi pa tama kasi sariwa pa po yung sugat. And hindi po natin madidikta sa puso natin kung kailan gagaling yun. It's really depend upon the person," Alden said.

Then Alden recalled the time that they talked again for the first time since their rift.

Alden told Julie: "I’m really sorry for what happened. Iniwan kita. There’s no one to blame but me and sana napatawad mo na ako."

"Okay po siya kausap that time," the actor-producer said.

Alden noted how the conversation gave him "relief."

"For the longest time iniiwasan ko rin po siya pero yung nangyari yung moment na yun, may dala rin pala ako. Now, we're very much good friend," he said.

At present, Julie Anne is romantically linked to Kapuso star Rayver Cruz.
