Korean film 'Jung_E,' American comedy 'Ginny & Georgia' top Netflix chart

The Korean movie “Jung_E” and season 2 of the American comedy series “Ginny & Georgia” have topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart of the most watched shows and films.

Netflix released the latest Global Top 10 chart covering the period Jan. 16 to 22.

“Jung_E,” a sci-fi thriller starring the late actress Kang Soo-yeon, Kim Hyun-joo and Ryu Kyung-soo, debuted at No. 1 in the non-English film category with 19.3 million hours viewed.

In the English TV category, season 2 of “Ginny & Georgia,” starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, grabbed the top spot with 87.4 million hours viewed. It has garnered a total of 430.59 million hours viewed with more than 47 million households have viewed the series.

The family movie “Dog Gone,” starring Rob Lowe and Johnny Berchtold, is No. 1 on the English film list with 20.91 million hours viewed.

The Mexican drama “La Reina del Sur” topped the non-English TV list with 54.09 million hours viewed.

Song Hye-kyo’s “The Glory” is No. 3 with 24.2 million hours viewed.
