7 arrested in Biñan for illegal poker

LAGUNA – Authorities arrested seven people during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Biñan on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Biñan City Police Station (CPS) identified the suspects as alias Richmar, alias Alfred, alias John Paul, alias Karen, alias Samuel, alias Juanito, and alias Carl Oscar.

The suspects were caught in the act of playing poker game with bet money.

Confiscated during the operation were a set of poker chips, a set of playing cards, and bet money amounting to P32,000.

The suspects are now under the custody of Biñan CPS and are facing illegal gambling charges.
