Want to study in UP for free? Here's how to register for UPOU short courses

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) announced five additional multimedia production courses to its 23 existing short courses which you can take for free and at your own pace and time.

Interested applicants need to register an account at the Massive Open Distance e-Learning website to enroll, UP said.

Enrollees can do that by following these five simple steps:

"1. Go to https://model.upou.edu.ph/login/signup.php 2. Fill up all required fields accurately.

3. Click on "Create My New Account".

4. An email will be sent to your email so that you can confirm your account

5. After confirming your account, you can now log in.

Using your MODeL account, browse through the featured courses section and select the courses you want to enroll in when they open in February."

UP noted that these courses are open to everyone and an electronic certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of each of the courses.

This can also be included in the student's resume as a 16-hour training, UP said.
