LOOK: Percy Lapid's family thanks Hontiveros' continued support, call for justice

The family of slain radio broadcaster Percival “Percy Lapid” Mabasa on Tuesday, January 24, visited the office of Sen. Risa Hontiveros to express their gratitude for the senator’s continued support in their pursuit to seek justice for his death.

Last October, Hontiveros called on authorities to provide greater security and protection to the Mabasa family who were targeted for death threats and harassment since Lapid passed away.

The veteran journalist was killed in a fatal ambush while on his way home in Las Piñas, Metro Manila last October, 2023.

Last year, Hontiveros disclosed how unknown callers have been asking the Mabasa family for money in exchange for information about those involved in the Lapid slay case.

The senator, earlier, also called on the public to not allow the brutal killing of the hard-hitting radioman to be swept under the rug.
