Student fatally struck by car in Pangasinan

URDANETA CITY, Pangasinan – A 17-year-old Grade 11 student died after he was accidentally struck by a car while crossing the bypass road in Barangay Nancayasan here on Sunday, Jan. 22.

Police identified the victim as Ernest Jules Draculan, a resident of Zone 3, Barangay Cayambanan, this city.

Draculan was taken to the Urdaneta District Hospital where he was declared dead.

The driver of the car, Mando Cruz, 39, of Barangay Isla, San Carlos City, this province, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Urdaneta police station for proper disposition.
