Global business leaders weigh in on climate change at WEF
Climate change was one of the main concerns of world economic leaders and business executives during the recently concluded World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said.

Marcos said this as he wrapped up his five-day visit to Switzerland on Saturday, Jan. 21.
In his vlog, the President said that everyone at the event was interested in looking for ways to address the issue while growing the economy.
"Ang bawat leader ng mga higanteng ngosyo at ekonomiya ay nakikinig at naghahanap ng solusyon. Mula clean and green energy sources hanggang sa iba pang makabagong teknolohiya (Every leader of big businesses and economies were listening and finding solutions. From clean and green energy sources to advanced technology)," Marcos said.
"Marami pang maaaring magawa para pangalagaan ang kalikasan habang pinapaunlad natin ang ating ekonomiya (There are many things we can do to take of our environment while we're growing the economy)," he added.
In a press briefing in Davos last week, Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno told Manila-based journalists that the businessmen the Philippine delegation has spoken to have inquired about the country's plans to address climate change.
"Wala akong nakita na problema nila sa Pilipinas except siguro iyong climate change nga (I don't think they have problems with the Philippines except climate change, maybe). But that's the concern of all other countries," he said.
In his vlog, President Marcos said it was essential to raise the issue of climate change in the global forum, especially since the Philippines is one of its biggest victims.
"Bilang bansang pinaka-apektado ng climate change sa buong mundo, mahalagang isulong natin sa bawat pagkakatong meron ang usaping ito (As the country that's gravely affected in the whole world, i's vital that we talk about climate change whenever possible)," he said.
