Centro Escolar University Communication and Media Program recently worked together with EdukSine to promote media and information literacy through film productions.
Ms. Karen Jane Salutan, CEO and founder of EdukSine, joined the virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing and shared what this partnership is all about.

In this collaboration, the University permits EdukSine will showcase their independent films to Escolarian students through online or face-to-face screenings to enhance their ability in discerning and making sense of different issues of the Philippine society.
Tickets will be given to interested audience to have access to every block screening. Online block screening per movie is good for five days.
CEU President and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Ma. Cristina Padolina, together with Dean of School of Education-Liberal Arts-Music-Social Work Dr. Maria Rita D. Lucas , Communication and Media Program Head Ricky R. Rosales, and CEU Senior High School Assistant Principal Benjie L. Daño have expressed their delight and excitement on this partnership that will surely benefit the CEU students. , Program Head and Communication and Media Program Head of CEU Malolos Marietta Alvarez was also present to witness the formalization of the partnership.
EdukSine is an organization that showcases independent films tackling socio-political issues. They are strong advocates of education as well. They bring films not just to schools and universities but to communities and far-flung areas of the country.
