Barzaga offers P25,000-reward for capture of Dasmariñas hit-and-run driver
Cavite 4th district Rep. Elpidio Barzaga Jr. is dangling a P25,000-reward to anybody who could give information that would lead to the identification of the driver of a van that plowed down four motorcycle-riders in Dasmariñas City.

The driver escaped aboard a white Toyota Hi-Ace Commuter with plate number DDZ-8564.
Barzaga, in a Facebook post Monday, Jan. 23, identified the the victims as Mikko Jan Servido, Mark Daniel Valdez, both of Solar Homes, San Agustin I; Michael Jhon Engane, of City Homes, Langkaan 2; and Jay Ar Tuasoc, of City Homes Resortville, Langkaan 2. They were immediately taken to the Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas.
The incident took place at 1:57 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the intersection of Aguinaldo Highway and Dano Street.
A closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage shared by the veteran congressman in a subsequent post showed how the large van appeared out of nowhere and struck the hapless motorbikers from behind. The victims were waiting on a red light when they were hit.

The van then zoomed off to the direction of Pala-Pala, Barzaga said.
The former Dasmariñas mayor also indicated that they've already coordinated with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) regarding the van's registry details.
