7 lawbreakers nabbed in Nueva Ecija

Police arrested seven lawbreakers in anti-crime operations in Nueva Ecija on Sunday, Jan. 22.

Col. Richard Caballero, acting Nueva Ecija police chief, said that two suspected drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in the Science City of Muñoz and Santa Rosa City. A total of 0.35 grams of shabu valued at P2,380 were seized from the suspects.

Two wanted persons were apprehended in manhunt operations in Cuyapo and San Jose City for frustrated murder and rape.

Three individuals were nabbed for illegal gambling in Barangay Pinili, San Jose City. Seized from them were two sets of color game paraphernalia and bet money amounting to P5,655.

Suspects are under the custody of arresting units and face appropriate charges.

Police also recovered MK2 fragmentation hand grenade.
