To culminate the month-long festivities of the 22nd Grand Bambino Festival in Pasig City, a Bambino Exhibit was formally opened on Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral Formation Center.
Devotees of the Bambino or the Sto. Niño witnessed the launch, graced by Pasig City Lone District Rep. Roman Romulo, along with representatives from the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Office (CATO) and other groups.

The exhibit showcased the many iterations of the images and titles of the Sto. Niño from various places and organizations.
Among the replicas are the Sto. Niño del Mundo, Sto. Niño de Atocha, Sto. Niño del Pilar, and Sto. Niño de Cebu.
The centerpiece of the exhibit is the Sto. Niño de Pasig, the city's own image of the Bambino, known for its open, outstretched arms and hands.
The public may freely view the exhibit at the cathedral grounds from Sunday, Jan. 22 to Tuesday, Jan. 31.
The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

At the launch of the exhibit, Romulo shared how thrilled he was to see the strong devotion of Pasigueños to the Bambino even after two years of stalled festivities. The parade drew large crowds and active participants.
On behalf of Mayor Vico Sotto, the congressman reminded the devotees to continue to "live Christian, Catholic faith everyday."
The Grand Bambino Festival is Pasig's local celebration to honor the Sto. Niño.
The festival is observed as a "reminder of the simplicity, purity in spirit, love, mercy, and strength" of the Blessed Child Jesus, according to the Pasig City Museum.

The local government, in partnership with the Diocese of Pasig and other organizations, prepared numerous activities for the festival.
A mass and a grand parade was held last Sunday, Jan. 15, wherein devotees of various barangays flaunted their unique images of the Sto. Niño as they walked the streets of Pasig.
