A 26-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man to death and wounded two others in Harmony Hills 1, Barangay Muzon, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), in Bulacan on Saturday, Jan. 21.
In a report to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the arrested suspect was identified as Jay- R Dilobino, of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
The police director said that Dilobino drew a knife and stabbed Miguel Martinez, 20, when they got into a fistfight at around 9:30 a.m.on Saturday. The two reportedly had a heated argument a day before the incident.
Marc Luise Martinez, 22, and Marcelito Martinez Jr., 47, were also stabbed by the suspect when they came to help the injured victim.
The victims were rushed to Tala Hospital where Miguel Martinez was declared dead while being treated.
The two injured victims are still in the hospital for continuous medical care.
According to Arnedo, the suspect was immediately arrested by responding CSJDM police officers who blocked all the exit passages of the said village after receiving a report about the incident from a concerned citizen.
Meanwhile, four drug suspects were also arrested in a series of anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of San Miguel, Calumpit, and Malolos City on Saturday,
The drug suspects were identified as Arnold Singalawa, Jerson Reyes, Leo Codillo, and Randy Olase Del Rosario.
Police confiscated 15 sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects.
