Ticket bought in Iloilo City wins P49.5-M Ultra Lotto jackpot

A ticket bought in Iloilo City won the jackpot prize for Ultra Lotto 6/58 worth P49,500,000 in the evening draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday, Jan. 20.

The lucky numbers were 24-39-31-19-42-13.

This was the third time this week that a solo bettor was able to guess the winning combination for PCSO major lotto games.

Last Jan. 17, a player from Davao City, Davao del Sur won P35.3 million in Lotto 6/42 while on Jan. 19, a bettor from Manila hit the jackpot for Super Lotto 6/49 worth P79.1 million.

PCSO advised that 12 players hit Ultra Lotto's second prize worth P120,000 and 976 bettors got the third prize worth P2,000.

Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday at 9 p.m.

As per PCSO, all lotto prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax under Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
