Stars of iconic Korean drama 'Reply 1988' reunite

The stars of the hit Korean drama “Reply 1988” had a reunion.

“Reply 1988” premiered in November 2015 and ran until January 2016. The third and final series in the “Reply” franchise, “Reply 1988” got 18.8 percent for its final episode to make it the fifth highest rated Korean drama on cable TV as of this writing.

On Jan. 20, “Reply 1988” star Lee Dong-hwi, who played Ryu Dong-ryong in the series, posted photos on Instagram showing the cast having dinner.

The photo showed Lee Dong-hwi, Park Bogum, Hyeri and boyfriend Ryu Jun-yeol, Go Kyung-pyo, Choi Sung-won and Lee Min-ji. Also in the photo is series director Shin Won-ho.

“88 I love you, I love you, I miss you, you really know how I feel, right? Ditto,” Lee Dong-hwi wrote.
