A murder suspect from Quezon City who had been in hiding for 19 years was finally arrested by Calamba City police on Thursday evening, Jan. 19, in Barangay Sacred Heart in Kamuning, Quezon City.

Laguna police director Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio said the suspect is known only as alias Roger and was categorized as a most wanted person at the national level for murder.

The authorities even dangled a P140,000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to his arrest.

Around 8:45 on Thursday evening, the authorities finally caught the suspect upon the implementation of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Antonio S. Pozas, presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 36, 4th Judicial Region in Calamba City, Laguna.
