Man wanted in Pampanga nabbed in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested a 50-year-old technician wanted for frustrated murder in Magalang, Pampanga here on Monday, Jan. 16.

Col. Francisco Bulwayan, city police chief, identified the suspect as Antonio Gomez Benigno Jr., a resident of Lower Quirino Hill here.

Bulwayan said Benigno was the No. 2 most wanted person in Magalang in the first quarter of 2023.

Magalang police learned that the suspect was hiding in this city and coordinated with the Baguio City Police Office.

Armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rene Estrada Reyes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 118, Third Judicial Region, Angeles City, Pampanga dated Aug. 1, 2022, police nabbed the suspect at Slaughter Compound, Santo Nino, Barangay Dakong at 6 a.m.
