Las Piñas gov't offers flu vaccines for senior citizens

The Las Piñas City Health Office (CHO) held a flu vaccination drive for senior citizens at Bernabe Compound, Barangay Pulanglupa Uno on Thursday, Jan. 11.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said around 300 senior citizens received flu vaccine shots.

The flu vaccination being supervised by Vice Mayor April Aguilar is an ongoing activity of the CHO to ensure that all senior citizens in the city are given protection against the contagious respiratory illness.

She said that during the vaccination drive, senior citizens also received free oral check-up, multivitamins, oral kits, and face masks.

The mayor called on all the senior citizens who want to receive flu vaccines to coordinate with the nearest health centers in their respective areas.
