
Cloudy and rainy weather will continue in most parts of the country in the coming week, based on the weekly weather outlook released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday, Jan. 20.
In the next 24 hours, PAGASA said that the eastern part of Luzon, including Metro Manila, and Eastern Visayas, will have cloudy skies and rains.
More frequent rains are likely in Bicol Region, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated passing light rains.
From Sunday to Wednesday, Jan. 22 to 25, PAGASA said that occasional to frequent rains will be experienced in Eastern Mindanao because of the approaching low pressure area (LPA).
Meanwhile, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy weather with light rains.
The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy with passing light rains.
From Thursday to Friday, Jan. 26 to 27, occasional to frequent rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao.
PAGASA warned that the rains may cause flooding or landslides in Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Luzon, particularly the eastern part, will have cloudy weather with light rains.
