3 suspected motorcycle thieves nabbed in Mendez, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities collared three men who allegedly stole a motorcycle in the municipality of Mendez on Thursday, Jan. 19.

Mendez Municipal Police Station (MPS) identified the suspects as Kim Alegre, 20; Joshua Alegre, 18; and Jerben Barsaga, 21.

Based on initial investigation, the owner of the motorcycle parked his motor vehicle along the highway near his house, only to find it missing the next morning.

Mendez MPS conducted an investigation and launched a follow-up operation, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.

In a statement, Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended Mendez MPS for the successful operation.
