VP Sara reads PBBM's fortune: 'Granddaughter in 2023'

Having one's fortune read is one tradition for some people whenever the new year comes. President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte jumped in on the "trend", and tried to guess what awaits each other this 2023.

In the President's latest vlog, the Vice President tried to read his fortune, and what Duterte "saw" in Marcos' palm made him laugh.

"Merong blessing. May apo na darating. Girl. Daughter (There's a blessing. A grandchild will come. A girl. Daughter)," Duterte said, laughing at how Marcos reacted to his reading.

In response to his supposed fortune, Marcos "washed" his hands while he was laughing at the Vice President.

"Marunong ka ba talaga magbasa ? Teka buburahin ko muna yun (Do you really know how to read ? Wait, I'll wash it off first)," he said.

Marcos has three sons, and none of them is known to be dating anyone publicly.

Ilocos Norte First District Representative Sandro Marcos was once linked to actress Alexa Miro. The neophyte legislator denied romantic ties between them, saying they were only friends.

Meanwhile, President Marcos predicted that Vice President Duterte would serve the public for a long time.

"Hindi ko kailangang tingnan ang palad nito. Kukunin ko ang kapalaran niya sa pagkakakilala ko sa kanya (I don't need to look at her palm. I'll base her fortune off how I know her)," he said.

"Ang puso niyan ina, puso ng ina. Yun ang nagiging motivation niyan para sa trabaho niya kaya sa palagay ko habangbuhay na si Inday Sara na nasa serbisyo ng publiko (She has a mother's heart. That is what motivates her to do her job that's why I think she'll serve the public for the rest of her life)," he added.
