The Muntinlupa City government congratulated 336 graduates of the city-run Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) for passing the October 2022 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
"Congratulations to our PLMun Top Performing Board Passers! You make our City, and especially your respective parents and families, very, very proud," said Mayor Ruffy Biazon.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT), 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43 percent) and 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94 percent) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers given last Oct. 2.
In elementary, 122 out of 185 examinees from the PLMun or 66 percent passed the board exam while in the secondary level, 214 out of 308 examinees or 69.5 percent passed.
Biazon particularly mentioned the PLMun graduates placed in the internal top 10 of the university.
