Mikee Morada on controversy involving wife Alex Gonzaga: 'Masakit at mahirap na lesson ito...'

Politician Mikee Morada has come out to admit that his wife, actress Alex Gonzaga, indeed made a huge mistake smearing icing on a waiter's face during her recent birthday party.

He wrote on Facebook: "Madami na ang nasabi tungkol sa aking misis dahil sa nangyari noong kanyang birthday celebration. Bilang asawa at head ng aming pamilya, nais ko lang sabihin na nagkamali ang aking asawa...

"Madaming mga rason na maari kong sabihin kung bakit niya nagawa iyon pero walang excuse sa kanyang pagkakamali.

"Nagkamali talaga siya. Na recognize niya ang kanyang pagkakamali at napagdesisyonan na agad na humingi ng dispensa kay Kuya Allan."

Mikee continued: "Pero kahit na sa kanyang paghingi ng dispensa at gawin ay may masasabi pa din sa kanya.

"Tanggap natin yan pero bilang asawa masakit yung mga nababasa ko na sobra naman na pati ang pinagdaanan nya bilang babae ay naungkat pa. Kahit nagkakamali ang isang tao wala pa rin tayo karapatan murahin ito.

"Pinili ni Alex ang maging tahimik at nagawa na ng asawa ko ang paghingi ng dispensa sa taong pinaka naapektohan sa nangyaring ito, kay Kuya Allan."

Seemingly eager to answer presistent questions relating to the waiter issuing a statement that he and Alex are now okay, Mikee maintained the waiter's employer was "forced" to do so only because "ayaw silang tigilan ng mga nais na lalong magpalaki ng isyung ito."

Mikee then addressed his wife:

"Catherine, masakit at mahirap na lesson ito pero ang mahalaga ay ginawa mo ang dapat mong gawin at inako mo ang iyong pagkakamali. Patuloy man ang mga masasabing hindi maganda patungkol sa iyo at sa atin ay nandito ako para sa iyo. Pero may awa Ang Panginoon, dadating ang oras maghihilom din ang lahat. I love you!"
