Kris Lawrence to Alex Gonzaga's naysayers: 'Stop the bullying. No one is perfect.'
Kris Lawrence was among many who eagerly dipped their finger into the controversial issue involving actress Alex Gonzaga.
On Instagram, Kris expressed his thoughts about it.
It read: “People always have something negative to say. Let’s fast forward and after this event that waiter just went viral, will probably get ‘something’ after, and a LOT of sympathy. Most recognition he ever got as a waiter. So after all the noise…i’m sure he will be grateful that this happened. Looks like people just like to extract the negative out of things instead of Positive.”
It didn't sit well with some netizens.
An online user reacted: “OKAY WOW THIS IS JUST SO OUT OF TOUCH. Iba talaga pag privileged pwedeng apak-pakan ang mga tao.”
Kris then answered: “yup. After all this controversy and noise is out of the way. Just watch.”
In another comment, he reiterated what Alex did was wrong.

"She was clearly tipsy and it all comes down to intention," he said, relating to the viral video of Alex smearing icing on a waiter's face during her recent birthday bash.
He noted: “She was probably trying to have ‘fun.’ It’s how each one perceives it. For all we know she probably already said sorry."
Kris maintained he's not "justifying" Alex's actions, but he just doesn’t agree with everyone making it such a negative thing.
“It will all turn out Great though – that, I’m sure of," he reiterated. "When he goes to work tomorrow…he’ll be ‘the man.’ And it’s not like his life is in danger cuz of some cake on the face.”
The netizen, meanwhile, deemed Alex's action "wrong" and "very disrespectful."
"Kahit na tipsy sya. yan ang mali sa mayayaman eh, walang manners kapag tipsy na kuno. Masyadong binababa ang tingin sa mga serves just to make fun. Sana naransan mo maging server para alam mo ang ibig sabihin ng dignity sa perspective ng isang server!"
Kris then answered the online user, sharing that he was once a server, a barista, and even sold knives door to door.
"Been there done that. So now putting cake on someone's face at parties is demonized? I thought that was normal? You guys never put cake on anyone's face on a birthday? Again not justifying her actions, but geez... stop the bullying. No one is perfect."
