Retired cop found dead in La Union

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A retired policeman was found dead in a car parked at the Poro Point Management Corp. (PPMC) in Barangay Poro, City of San Fernando, La Union on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Police said the body of Baguio City resident and PPMC security officer Leo G. Mayaen, 59, was discovered at 7:15 p.m. by a colleague lying on a prone position on the passenger seat of the vehicle.

A follow-up investigation is being conducted to find out his cause of death.
