18 Muntinlupa couples say 'I do' before Mayor Biazon

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon officiated the marriage of 18 couples who are city residents on Jan. 17.

The wedding ceremony was held at the Muntinlupa City Hall.

According to the Muntinlupa Public Information Office, a Vietnamese and a Chinese national got married in the ceremony.

One Italian groom tied the knot with his Filipina girlfriend. The ages of the couples ranged from 21 to 39 years old.

According to the Local Civil Registry of Muntinlupa, the requirements for marriage license are: personal appearance of both applicants, photocopy of valid IDs, 2 X 2 ID picture, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate or baptismal certificate, PSA certificate of no marriage record and pre-marriage orientation compliance certificate.

If one or both parties are below 25 years old, pre-marriage counseling is required.
