The Philippine National Police-Maritime Group in Tagkawayan said the dolphin was spotted by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in a shallow part of the sea near fish pens or ‘’baklad.’’

Authorities mounted a rescue operation that led to the release of the dolphin to the sea.
