Report: BTS' Jimin to have solo debut in February

After RM, it’s BTS member Jimin’s turn to have a solo debut.

Jimin is preparing to release a solo album in February, according to a report by Korean media outlet Sports Donga on Jan. 16.

He is the featured artist in Big Bang member Taeyang’s new song “Vibe,” which was released on Jan. 13.

In response to the news report, Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, told Korean media, “The schedule will be announced after it is confirmed.”

Jimin’s solo debut will follow the music releases by J-Hope, Jin and RM.

In the January ranking for brand reputation index for individual members of K-pop boy band, Jimin took first place with a score of 5.71 million.

The Korea Corporate Research Institute released the brand reputation index based on the analysis of 114.13 million pieces of big data covering 703 members of K-pop boy bands from Dec. 14 to Jan. 14.

The brand reputation index was based on consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices.
