Korean drama 'Pachinko' wins at 28th Critics Choice Awards
Apple TV Plus’ Korean drama “Pachinko” won the Best Foreign Language Series at the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards held on Jan. 15 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
“Congratulations to the #Pachinko team on their #CriticsChoiceAwards win for Best Foreign Language Series,” Apple TV Plus posted on Twitter.

“Pachinko” premiered in March last year starring Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Min-ho and Kim Min-ha, who attended the awards ceremony .
Other nominees for Best Foreign Language Series were the hit Netflix Korean drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” “1899” (Netflix), “Borgen” (Netflix), “Garcia!” (HBO Max), “The Kingdom Exodus” (MUBI), “Kleo” (Netflix), “My Brilliant Friend” (HBO) and “Tehran” (Apple TV+).
Last December, the American Film Institute (AFI) named “Pachinko” one of the 10 outstanding TV programs for its AFI Awards 2022.
