Janella Salvador mourns death of beloved pet cat

Kapamilya star Janella Salvador mourned the loss of her pet cat Twinkie.

Janella, who plays Valentina in the series "Darna," took to social media to share an emotional post for her cat on Monday, Jan. 16.

She posted two photos with her cat, one of which was taken when she was seven years old.

Janella's full post:

"The hardest part about loving animals is knowing that you’re bound to outlive them.

"That’s 7 year old me in February ‘06, proud and ecstatic to be holding my advanced 8th birthday gift from my mama.

"I found him at a petshop in Pasay and fell in love so fast that I didn’t want to leave him behind and wait for my birthday.

"He was the perfect cuddly gentle cat anyone could ever dream of. Thank you for sharing 17 years of your life with us, Twinkie. You have a spot in my heart forever," she wrote.
