The Maynilad Water Service, Inc. has announced that some of their customers in Caloocan and Quezon City will experience water interruption from Jan. 17 to 23.
Maynilad said the interruptions are due to scheduled maintenance activities in different barangays in the city which is part of its continuous efforts to improve their services.
Parts of barangays 8,12,14,16, 18, 33, 34, and 151 in Caloocan City will have no water from 11 p.m. on Jan. 17 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 18 due to maintenance activities at the corners of the streets of Langaray and Dagat-dagatan, Progreso and Pangako, and Estanislao.
Water interruption will also occur starting 11 p.m. on Jan. 19 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 20 in Caloocan City's Barangay 148. The maintenance work will be held at the corner of katarungan and Reparo Streets.
Network maintenance work at the corner of Tullahan Street in the city will also cause water interruption in Barangay 162 on Jan. 20 at 11 p.m. to Jan. 21 at 4 a.m.
In Quezon City, customers of the Maynilad in barangays Maribolo and Manresa will experience service interruption on Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. until 6 a.m. on Jan. 18. The maintenance activities will be held at the corner of De Vera Street and Roosevelt Avenue, and Banawe Street and Del Monte Avenue.
There will also be no water in parts of Barangays Gulod and Sta. Monica starting Jan. 18 (10 p.m.) to Jan. 19 (6 a.m.), as Maynilad personnel will be conducting maintenance work along Forest Hill Drive and Santiago in Novaliches.
Customers in Barangay Baesa, Balingasa, Damayan, Katipunan and Pag-ibig Sa Nayon will also have no water service from Jan. 19, at 10 p.m., to Jan. 20, at 6 a.m.
Barangays Dona Imelda Marcos, Dona Josefa Marcos, Tatalon and Maharlika will experience water interruption on Jan. 20-21 (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) due to Maynilad activites on Quezon Avenue, particulary at the corners of D. Tuazon and Tuayan.
Maintenance works will be held at the corner of Nicanor Roxas and Iba Streets causing no water in parts of Barangays San Isidro Labrador and Santa Teresita on Jan. 21 at 10 p.m. until Jan. 22 at 6 a.m.
Some areas in Barangays Bahay Toro, Sangandaan, A Samson, and Lourdes will also experience service interruption on Jan. 22 (10 a.m.) to Jan. 23 (6 a.m.).
Maynilad also encouraged affected customers to store enough water for the duration of the water service interruption.
It added that water tankers will also be on standby, ready to deliver water to affected areas as needed.
