Fumiya Sankai on his gender identity

A TikTok video featuring former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Fumiya Sankai has gone viral.

The clip, which has garnered more than 5 million views as of writing, shows Fumiya dancing with a male companion.

The comment section was inundated with questions about his gender identity.

Some went on to ask if the other guy in the video is his boyfriend.

Fumiya set things straight in another video.

There, a certain Kenji told Fumiya about them trending online.

“Hala nag-trending kami sa TikTok at Facebook. Pero bakla raw tayo e?”

Seemingly surprised, Fumiya retorted: “E? That's why trending?”

“Akala ko my dance is very nice, magaling. That’s why trending.”

Fumiya reiterated: “BL talaga? I respect LGBT, very respect. Pero I’m very straight... Thank you so much for comments. Pero (I'm) very straight.”
