NPD seizes over P540,000 'shabu' in Caloocan City

Operatives from the Northern Police District (NPD)-District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) confiscated P544,000 worth of suspected shabu from a man in Barangay 139, Caloocan City early Friday morning, Jan. 13.

The DDEU said the suspect, Jeremy Laboza, 19, of Balintawak, Quezon City, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at about 1 a.m. on Friday on G. De Jesus St. in Brgy. 139, Caloocan City.

The suspect yielded more or less 80 grams of alleged shabu worth P544,000 and a brown paper bag.

Laboza will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
