2 drug suspects nabbed, P68K 'shabu' confiscated in Dasmariñas, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Thursday, Jan. 12.

The Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit identified the suspects as Peter E. Velasco, 64 years old, and Jane K. Espiritu, 57 years old.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the suspects were caught in the acting of selling a plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” to a poseur buyer.

Confiscated during the operation were a total of 10 grams of suspected "shabu" with an estimated street value of P68,000.

Velasco and Espiritu are facing drug charges and are detained at the Dasmariñas City Detention Cell.
