ZAMBOANGA CITY – Classes on all levels and work in the city government remain suspended on Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather from the shear line and low-pressure area.

Mayor John Dalipe signed Executive Order 2023-008 extending the suspension of classes and work at the city government on Thursday.
City government offices involved in providing frontline services remain operational.
Dalipe’s decision was based on a Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis and a recommendation by the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO).
Flood inundated several barangays and more than 2,000 individuals fled to evacuation centers on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
