The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Parañaque (PCCI-Parañaque) and the Sokcho Federation of Micro Enterprises paid a courtesy visit to the office of Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
According to Mayor Olivarez, the PCCI- Parañaque and the Sokcho Federation of Microenterprises signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a sisterhood relationship between the organizations.
Olivarez said the visit of delegates from PCCI-Parañaque led by Lolita Duria and the Sokcho Federation Micro Enterprise in South Korea also aimed to establish “Sister City” relations with the City of Parañaque.
The delegates were welcomed by the mayor’s wife, Aileen Olivarez, and City Administrator Voltaire dela Cruz.
The agreement aims to share a mutual interest in establishing business exchange programs, including business-to-business matching, investments, and training to enhance understanding of each organization’s advocacies.
The Sokcho Federation Micro Enterprises was also introduced to some businesses where they can have an opportunity for investments and business partnerships with the members of PCCI-Parañaque.
