Mayor Emi welcomes newly-designated city police chief

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano welcomed the designation of Col. Froilan Uy as the city's new police chief on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

Rubiano, who witnessed the turnover of command to Uy at the Session Hall of the Pasay City Hall, thanked and recognized the significant accomplishment of outgoing police chief, Col. Byron Tabernilla.

Tabernilla assured Rubiano of his continued support to the Pasay police under Uy.

The outgoing police chief was also given the Medalya ng Kasanayan for his exemplary performance during his tour of duty.

Uy said he envisions the Pasay police to become exceptional in delivering public service and keeping peace and order so that Pasayeños will feel secure and safe in their communities.
