Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon received a lotto and small town lottery (STL) check worth P488 thousand from Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Mel Robles on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

This was the lotto and STL shares of the city from July to September 2022, said PCSO.
The Muntinlupa lgu had also received over P1.6 million worth of lotto and STL shares from the agency last Dec. 29.
PCSO noted that Robles is prioritizing the turnover of lotto and STL shares to National Capital Region lgus to help strengthen their support for PCSO gaming products.
This will bring more funds for its charity services such as the Medical Access Program, PTV Donation Programs, and Institutional Partnership Programs, it added.
This initiative was in compliance with PCSO’s mandate of allocating 30 percent of its income to charity services.
Meanwhile, 55 percent of the agency’s income is set aside for game prizes and the remaining 15 percent is for operations.
