Elementary teacher nabbed in Isabela buy-bust

ANGADANAN, Isabela – Police arrested a 35-year-old elementary teacher in a buy-bust operation in Purok 7, Barangay Centro 1, here on Monday afternoon, Jan. 9.

The Police Regional Office 2 (Cagayan Valley) identified the suspect as Virgilio Estrada Jr.

Estrada, considered by the police as a high-value individual, was arrested after he sold suspected shabu in three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets packed in a yellow cigarette pack with an estimated weight of 0.4 grams and valued at P2,000 to a poseur-buyer.

Inventory of evidence was witnessed by barangay officials and a representative from the media and the Department of Justice.

Suspect and evidence were taken to the Angadanan police station for documentation and proper disposition.
