Bohol governor continues to distribute aid to barangays

CEBU CITY – Gov. Aris Aumentado continues to distribute financial assistance to various barangays in Bohol through his “Meet and Greet” program.

Aumentado recently visited Batuan where he led the distribution of P25,000 cash aid each to 25 barangays in the town.

Kits for barangay tanods or watchmen were also distributed as well as honoraria for barangay health workers (BHWs) and barangay livestock aids (BALAs).

The governor also handed over P40,000 for the town’s Federated Senior Citizens Association. A P10,000 cash aid was given to Barangay Quezon for the purchase of a computer.

Aumentado also visited the town of Sevila where he turned over a check for P160,000 to Barangay Ewon.

The governor had a dialogue with barangay captains in Ewon where several projects being planned in the town were discussed.

Aumentado also went to San Isidro town where he turned over a check for P110,000 to the municipality’s national high school.

In Clarin town, Aumentado distributed P25,000 financial aid to 24 barangays as well as kits and honorarium for barangay workers.

He donated P100,000 to Barangay Santa Cruz for the procurement of office equipment and improvement of some facilities.

Aumentado discussed various projects that the provincial government is planning to undertake in Bilar town. He was welcomed by Bilar Mayor Norman "Tata" Palacio at the Bilar Cultural and Sports Center.

The governor capped his Meet and Greet tour by crossing to Pangapsan Island in Tubigon.
He distributed foods packs in the island-barangay affected by inclement weather in the past weeks.
