Big Bang's Taeyang, BTS' Jimin's 'Vibe' tops Billboard chart even before release

The collaborative song between Big Bang member Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin has already grabbed the No. 1 spot on a Billboard chart even before its release.

Billboard released the rankings of its Hot Trending Songs chart, powered by Twitter, dated Jan. 14.

It showed Taeyang’s “Vibe,” featuring Jimin, at the No. 1 spot ahead of its official release on Jan. 13.

“Billboard’s Hot Trending charts, powered by Twitter, track global music-related trends and conversations in real-time across Twitter, viewable over either the last 24 hours or past seven days. A weekly, 20-position version of the chart, covering activity from Friday through Thursday of each week, posts alongside Billboard’s other weekly charts on Billboard.com each Tuesday,” according to Billboard.
