Sarah Geronimo admits to losing self-confidence due to past struggles

Actress-singer Sarah Geronimo has opened up on past struggles prior to her return to performing.

During her recent performance on "ASAP Natin 'To," the 34-year-old shared: "Alam niyo po, masayang-masaya po ako na nagkaroon po ako ng courage talaga na makabalik sa pag-pe-perform."

"Marami pong mga dumaan sa buhay ko na nagpahina ng aking loob, ng aking paghinga," she added.

According to her, "Nakaapekto po yun lahat sa akin pero tinulungan po ako ng Panginoon Diyos na bumangon ulit at yakapin yun pong talento na ibinigay Niya sa akin."

"And of course, yung inspirasyon na galing unang-una sa Kanya. Pangalawa po sa mga mahal ko sa buhay - sa aking pamilya. At ngayon ang aking asawa din..."

She then credited those who gave her inspiration to fight.

"Hangga't meron, tuloy lang," she related.

The wife of Matteo Guidicelli then declared that she's starting 2023 with a "grateful" heart.

Recall that late last year, Sarah returned to television after a long hiatus.

Around that time, Sarah also opened up about her personal life online. Then, she expressed her gratitude to those behind her success.

It also included an apology to her family.

Note that Sarah "went against all odds" for her husband Matteo.

It was in February 2020 when Matteo and Sarah tied the knot in a “secret wedding.”
