Mark de Leon, the father of controversial actor McCoy de Leon, is not eager to dip into the controversy involving his son.

Talent manager Ogie Diaz recently reached out to him hoping that he could shed light on the issue but he declined.

This is what he said supposedly via text message: "Pasensya na boss Ogs, sa ngayon hindi po ako makakapagsalita. Hiyang-hiya ako sa nangyari, pasensiya na po."

Prior, McCoy came out to admit that he and Elisse Joson have parted ways.

But he denied allegations there was a third party involved.

He said, “Wala po involve na ibang tao ang pinaka rason kaya kami naghiwalay. Sana po maniwala po kayo. Hindi ko po intensyon manakit ng tao o manloko. Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat lang ng problema kaya po ako sumuko.”

Rumor about McCoy and Elisse having parted ways started circulating after netizens noticed the lack of photos of them together on social media of late.

Adding fuel to the fire were their respective cryptic posts.

Later, McCoy posted an open letter to their one-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, around that time, a photo of McCoy seemingly being cozy with a certain Mary Joy Santiago went viral.
