7 wounded in Mandaluyong road mishap

Seven people were injured in a vehicular accident that occurred along Shaw Boulevard corner of San Miguel St. in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

In a report by DZBB, a total of eight cars and four motorcycles were involved in the mishap.

According to police investigators, a Toyota Land Cruiser lost control and hit two motorcycles in an intersection and then plowed into the other vehicles in the opposite direction.

The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Due to the scattered debris as a result of the accident, authorities cordoned off the area and urged motorists to look for alternative routes due to heavy traffic caused by the road closure.

Investigation is ongoing.
